Required Skills:
- 3-10 years of experience, preferably handling and working with complex JAVA based projects.
- Experience with Spring/Hibernate/Jersey is a MUST.
- Can develop RESTFul API endpoints containing JSON.
- Familiar with profiling, code coverage, logging, common
- IDEs and other development tools.
- Knows how to use Git.
- Expertise in implementing complex Business Logic.
- Experience with modern web app frameworks.
- Experience with SQL, NO-SQL, non-relational or Big Data type database environments a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop JAVA code to capture data from different sources and ingest into our data management and collection framework.
- Candidate will work with a team to create technical design documents, design, develop and test Java and J2EE software projects.
- Work with the infrastructure team to ensure that all the required monitoring, exception handling and fault tolerance is in place for a production quality data platform.
- Follow best engineering practises and develop reusable code.
- Be proactive about solving problems even if it's outside of your area and be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge.
- Should be comfortable working in a high energy startup and be eager to solve tough challenges
