As a Senior Node.js engineer, you will be responsible for the development of our AMT (Advertising & Marketing Technology) servers, integrations with various exchanges, performance tuning, adding new features as per business requirements, and mentoring junior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design & development of high-performance servers.
- Deliver highly scalable and reliable JavaScript code.
- Develop code to integrate with several big data systems, analytics, and various 3rd party services.
- Work with the product team to understand business requirements, and scope the development efforts.
- Tune the performance of servers.
- Perform code and design reviews with the team to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications
- BE in Computer Science and Engineering. In lieu of this, a strong showing in HackerRank / CodeSignal, etc. can be considered.
- Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Highly fluent in programming, especially in JavaScript including ES6.
- Excellent understanding of HTTP & other web & networking technologies.
- Good understanding of SQL and no-SQL databases. Experience with ElasticSearch, MongoDB, etc. is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in building and maintaining high-performance server systems using Node.js & Express frameworks.
- Experience with Display, Mobile, and Video advertising is a plus.
